DOES VIDEO ON INSTAGRAM WORK?
With video on Instagram being heavily featured recently, we spoke to four Plann users who use video as part of their Instagram strategy to see what type of results they’re seeing.
To make sure you were confident if video would work in your niche, we spoke to a mixture of Instagram businesses – including:
1. Landscape Artist on instagram
Emily Jeffords is one of our foundation Plann users and we met her through our mutual love of creativity and Instagram.
Recently nominated for ‘BEST MAKERS IN THE USA: BEST ARTS & CRAFTS 2016’, Emily has been sporadically adding video into her Instagram feed.
2. Bricks & mortar on Instagram
Tess Lehman runs a lively co-working space in Queensland, Australia and uses her Instagram feed to entice those in the area to see her space.
Popular for events, creative workshops and quiet workstations, Tess is family focused and likes to mix her Instagram feed with showing what is important to her.
Recently, she has been adding videos to her Instagram schedule to show prospects around her space.
3. Providing a service on Instagram
George Kats has always been fascinated with mindset coaching, recently launching his own 1:1 coaching service and using Instagram to drive traffic to his closed Facebook group, a safe place for anyone to discuss how the mind works and overcome inner obstacles.
He uses Instagram video regularly to speak directly to his users, show his ‘no b-s’ personality and demonstrate how passionate he is as a supporter of small businesses.

4. Physical products on instagram
Philomena Kwok, co-founder of Bloombox Co has a beautiful product, a flower subscription service where people can receive a box of blooms, then watch online video tutorials on how to style each one so they can become a florist in their own homes.
She uses bright and cheery videos on Instagram to showcase the weeks box of bloom.
We caught up with the lovely Kate Williams of @retreatyourself_box to talk about self care in the midst of daily chaos. And we put together an easy DIY rose petal bath vid for you ?? Because all busy babes need a mini break! Check it out (plus a special discount code) in our profile ? #omgflowers #retreatyourself #girlboss #lmbdw
There you go!
