Looking to spice up your Reels content but don’t necessarily want to get your face in it? Don’t worry you’re not alone.

Sometimes creating content can be daunting, especially if you’re not used to being in front of the camera or presenting to an audience.

Luckily, there are plenty of engaging and creative Reels content ideas that don’t require you to be front and center. So, without further ado, here are 10 faceless Instagram Reels ideas to help you create engaging content in no time.

1. Workspace or Office Tour

One of the simplest ways to create faceless yet engaging Reels content is to show off your workspace or office. Plus, people are naturally curious and they want to see the spaces where their favorite creators, brands, and businesses are working from.

There are a bunch of different ways you could film this from just simply filming a little behind-the-scenes your workspace with a trending audio or you could add a voiceover of you explaining some of the products you have in your workspace and why you can’t live without them.

2. Timelapse on the job

Timelapse videos are a versatile way to create loads of Reels content without much effort. There are a bunch of different ways you can create timelapse videos, and what you do will depend on what your job involves.

If you’re an artist, you could film a timelapse of you bringing your latest artwork to life. If you’re an eCommerce or small business, you could film a timelapse of you packaging up orders.

Or if you had a desk job, you could easily film an overhead shot of you typing away on your laptop. The options are endless!

3. Stop-motion Tutorial

If you’re looking to get a little creative but still don’t want to show your face in your Reels, a stop-motion video is a fun way to be engaging in your video content.

There are also a bunch of different ways to utilize stop motion videos in your Reels content like showing how you style products for a photoshoot, how you style an outfit, or how you package an order for your customers – the possibilities are infinite.

The key is to find a process that shows a transformation: whether that’s bringing a new product to life or styling on the set of your latest product photoshoot.

4. Favorites Haul

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a favorites haul! If you’re like us, you probably spend a lot of time scrolling through the explore page looking for inspiration for some products. So, why not tap into people’s curiosity and do a favorites haul of your own?

From home-office essentials to Amazon favorites and even your favorite beauty products, you can create a bunch of different favorite hauls and even start a regular Reels series to boost engagement

Plus, this is a great way for product-based businesses to show off their best-selling products or promote bundles of products that work well together.

5. Share a Process

If you’re a product or service-based business, sharing a process of you working on one of your products or service offerings can make people trust your brand and feel more inclined to shop with you.

For example, if you’re a candle business, you can film the process of you making a candle from start to finish. If you’re a graphic designer, you can film the process of you designing a website for a client.

There are heaps of ways to incorporate this into your Reels strategy, and just like a favorites haul, you can turn this into a regular Reels series showing the different types of products and services you offer.

6. How it started vs. How it’s going

Another great BTS faceless Reel idea is to share a how it started vs. how it’s going video. This Reels idea is super versatile and can be anything from how your business looked like when you first started it vs. where you are now.

If you’re a content creator, you could do a style evolution and show how your style started to how it has changed over time. If you’re a photographer or graphic designer, you could show how your editing process started at the beginning of your career to where it is now.

7. Product Zoom In

Looking for a simple and aesthetically pleasing way to show off your products? A simple product zoom Reels video can do just the trick. All you have to do is set up a product in an aesthetically pleasing location or hold your product and either zoom into your particular product or give a little demonstration of how to use it.

9. What’s in my bag flat-lay

Another great faceless Reels idea that also regularly trends on Instagram is a what’s in my bag flat-lay video. They’re super easy to record and edit and all you have to do is lay the things in your bag on a flat surface and hit record.

Then simply add in the details with a text overlay and you’ve got a simple, easy, and trendy Reels video ready to post.

10. Product Packaging

For product-based businesses, filming how you personally package and send out orders is a super engagement-boosting way to create a faceless Reels video. People love seeing how their products are being packaged, especially when you add in a personal touch like a thank you card or a sneaky freebie.

Plus, you could start a series and get people excited to see if their order is the one featured in your product packaging videos.
