Increase Engagement Everywhere: First Comment Auto-Posting Now Available on Facebook and LinkedIn!

Great news for all you small business owners, creators and teams juggling multiple social media channels! We’ve just levelled up our first comment auto-post feature to include Facebook and LinkedIn, on top of Instagram. Yay!

This is a game-changer if you’re all about keeping your main post clean and but still want to add those essential hashtags, shout-outs, kick start conversations or adding links without cluttering your caption.

 

Here’s what you can do now:

  • Enhance your post’s visibility and sidestep algorithm quirks by putting links in the first comment
  • Give your post an immediate engagement kick-start by launching the conversation with your first comment.
  • Organize Your Hashtags: Keep your post clean by automatically adding hashtags from your saved sets in Plann.
  • Mention Like a Pro: Tag everyone who needs a shout-out right in the first comment – perfect for giving props to collaborators or linking with brands.
  • Spark Conversations Instantly: Engage your audience from the moment your post goes live with pre-planned comments.

Here’s how:

  1. Login and create a new post
  2. Once you’re in there, click the social icon (LinkedIn or FB) to open the first comment box (same as you would for instagram).
  3. Remember there are character limits for the first comment:
    • Facebook: 8000 characters
    • LinkedIn: 1250 characters
  4. Add your first comment! You’ll be able to edit it along the way.
  5. When you schedule this post, the first comment you’ve added to this will be scheduled to post at the same time. Magic!
