How is KPI used on Social Media?

KPI, or Key Performance Indicator, is used on social media to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. Common social media KPIs include engagement rate, follower growth, reach, impressions, and conversion rates. These metrics help businesses track performance, optimize strategies, and achieve goals.

What are some examples of KPI’s on Social Media?

Engagement Rate: measures the level of interaction (likes, comments, shares, saves) relative to the number of followers or impressions.

Reach: The total number of unique users who have seen your content.

Impressions: The total number of times your content is displayed, regardless of whether it was clicked/

Conversion Rate: measures the percentage of users who completed a desired action (e.g. signing up for a newsletter, making a purchase) after engaging with your content.

Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Score: gauges user satisfaction based on interactions, often collected through surveys or direct feedback.

Follower Growth Rate: Tracks the increase in followers over a specified period, indicating brand growth and popularity.
