It’s shaping up to be a massive year for TikTok with a stack of new features and updates designed to make the lives of content creators, brands, and business even easier.
If you’re looking to make money via the TikTok platform or produce TikTok ads that better target your audience, then you’re in luck because TikTok’s new features will help you do just that.
So you’re on top of your social media game, we’ve rounded up a stack of new features and updates from the world of TikTok from their new feature ‘Series’ to new Keyword Insights tools and even a way to save videos without the TikTok watermark directly through the platform. Yep, seriously!
TikTok Series lets creators charge for exclusive content
TikTok’s latest feature ‘Series’ is providing new ways for creators and brands to monetize their content and build deeper connections with their communities on the platform.
Considering TikTok hosts short-form videos, it can be challenging to monetize content on the platform, unlike YouTube which enables ads in its long-form videos. But, Series will now enable creators to post exclusive content behind a paywall for their most valued audience members.

This premium feature will allow creators to post up to 80 collections of videos, each up to 20 minutes long. TikTok also says that creators can choose how much their Series will cost with rates ranging from $1 to $190. Fans will be able to purchase the exclusive content through direct, in-video links or from their favorite creator’s profile.
So, what does this feature mean for brands and content creators? It’s been challenging to make money directly from TikTok, but this new feature will allow brands and content creators to not only set up a revenue stream from TikTok but also connect deeper with their most valued audiences.
Brands will be able to share exclusive content, upcoming projects, and even let fans who participate in Series-only content to get early access to upcoming product launches.
While this feature is in its early stages of planning, Series is currently only available to select creators and will be open for applications in the coming months.
TikTok ‘Keyword Insights’ provides new tools to find high-performing keywords and phrases
For brands, and marketers, TikTok has just launched a new ‘Keyword Insights’ tool via the Creative Centre. This tool allows you to find deeper insights into which keywords and phrases are trending and resonating with your audience.
TikTok says this tool will enable you to browse through keywords that have appeared in previous real and successful ad campaigns. You can get inspiration from other ad campaigns and incorporate those keywords and phrases into your scripts, ad texts, and overlays.
You can search through a list of the most popular and used keywords in TikTok ads, see how many times they’ve been used, and what was the click-through rate (CTR) of each keyword. Then you can click on the ‘Details’ section and see how each keyword or phrase has been used and whether it was used as a voice-over or as text.
The new feature also lets you filter ads by timeframe, giving you deeper insight into when the ads were posted either with a ballpark range of the last 7, 30, or 120 days.
TikTok is testing a new feature allowing users to download videos without a watermark
Since the inception of TikTok, creators have had to use third-party apps to remove watermarks to cross-post TikTok videos to Instagram Reels. But, it appears that TikTok is working on a feature that allows users to download videos to their camera rolls without the TikTok watermark.
Resident social media expert Matt Navara took to Twitter to share the exciting news, reposting a video from former TikTok employee @biancamfernandez8.

This exciting new feature will allow content creators, brands, and businesses to seamlessly cross-post between TikTok and Instagram Reels (with you can do effortlessly with Plann). Plus, if you’re making Reels videos but aren’t impressed with Instagram’s video features you can directly film videos via TikTok and utilize their features like the green screen and repurpose content to other platforms.
As explained in the video, once this feature is rolled out, you can click the download button before posting the video to TikTok and it will automatically save the video without the TikTok logo.
While this feature is still in the testing phase, we’re excited to see the opportunities it offers brands, businesses and creators in the months ahead.
